Description

Document cameras are image capture devices for displaying items via the projector or other classroom display. These devices can be used to display paper documents, transparencies, 3D objects or iPad screens.

This is commonly known as an ELMO, visual presenter or digital overhead.

If a classroom is not equipped with a document camera and you would like one placed in your classroom for the semester, please contact Classroom Services at 614-688-4357 to request a portable one in the room.

Getting Started

The document camera has a light at the front of the arm nearest the camera and zoom controls near the power button.

  • Press the large square power button on the document camera to turn it on.
  • If the projector does not automatically switch to display the document camera image, tap Select Source on the touch panel and then Document Camera.
  • If the image is blurry, press the Focus button on the document camera base.
  • When you are finished using the camera, press the power button twice to power it off.
